Certificate for International Certificate Class of Taiwan Specialty Tea
Program Overview
臺灣特色茶國際證照班(初級)係由農業部茶及飲料作物改良場(簡稱茶改場)專為想進一步認識臺灣茶之外籍人士所設計之課程。課程能力指標為能夠簡易分辨臺灣特色茶、風味輪及茶區;課程內容包括:臺灣茶業概況、認識臺灣特色茶、如何沖泡臺灣茶及臺灣茶區參訪。 為使課程更加普及至全球愛茶人士,以強化臺灣茶之國際行銷,本課程將授權外部單位開班授課,開班單位僅能聘用由茶改場培訓且取得臺灣特色茶國際證照班(初級)種子講師資格者擔任講師。課程能力分為初級、中級與高級等三級。
各級指標能力分別為:
(1)初級:能夠簡易分辨臺灣特色茶、風味輪、茶區及沖泡方式。
(2)中級:能夠分辨各茶葉類別中之茶葉種類、品種及風味輪使用說明。
(3)高級:臺灣各類茶葉品質分級及協助茶葉品質評鑑作業。
International Certificate Class of Taiwan Specialty Tea (Primary) is a course designed by Tea and Beverage Research Station, MOA (referred to as the TBRS) specifically for foreign individuals who wish to further understand Taiwan tea.
The course competency indicators include the ability to easily distinguish Taiwan specialty teas, flavor wheel, and tea regions. The course content includes: an overview of the Taiwan’s tea industry, understanding Taiwan specialty teas, how to brew Taiwan tea, and visits to Taiwan tea fields.
To make the course more accessible to tea lovers worldwide and to strengthen the international marketing of Taiwan tea, this program will authorize external organizations to conduct classes. These organizations can only hire lecturers who have been trained by the TBRS and have obtained the qualification of a seed lecturer for the Taiwan Specialty Tea International Certification Program (Primary). The course competencies are divided into three levels: beginner, intermediate, and advanced. The competency indicators for each level are as follows:
(1) Primary:Ability to easily distinguish Taiwan specialty teas, flavor wheel, tea fields, and brewing methods.
(2) Intermediate:Ability to distinguish between different types of teas, cultivars, and explanations of the flavor wheel.
(3) Advanced:Grading the quality of various Taiwan teas and assisting evaluation for tea quality.
